8-31-2010 - MEETING NOTICE
The Blackford County Historical Society will be hosting a cook-out on Thursday, September 9 at 4:30 p.m. at the Historical Society, 321 North High Street.
This year's tour will be the Presbyterian Church located at the corner of Franklin and High Streets. Mr. Clyde Crimmel of North Potomac, Maryland, will be the special guest who has written the history of the Church and will give his presentation after the cook out.
Mr. Crimmel has written other Blackford County history items such as the Sneath Glass factory and E. E. Cox (one of Blackford County's early newspaperman) and posted these on Wikipedia.
The public is invited to come and enjoy the evening's activities.
